About me
Morgan O'Rorke
Propulsion Engineer with a passion for high-performance systems and pushing the boundaries of what moves things forward — whether that's a rocket, a turbine, or a weekend project. When not deep in combustion analysis or CFD simulations, you'll find me with a camera in hand or tinkering on something that probably shouldn't work but does.
What I Do
- Analytical Modeling
- Steady-state and time domain analysis of engine control systems and components, with expertise in hydromechanical systems.
- Model-based systems engineering to support optimization and requirements generation and validation.
- Extensible, object-oriented model development to support carrying one model from conceptual design to flight test.
- Solid Modeling
- Extensive CAD experience for single parts and complex assemblies.
- Extensive CAD automation experience and lead developer of a fluid tubing design tool which automates creation of design check evidence, tubing geometry, tubing assembly, release drawing, parts list, release package, and modal analyses.
